United Charter High Schools (UCHS) is proud to launch a 21-day popcorn fundraiser in support of
our first-ever HBCU Tour—an immersive college exposure experience designed to inspire, affirm,
and expand postsecondary pathways for our scholars.
UCHS serves students across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens with a commitment to academic
excellence, cultural affirmation, and equitable access to opportunity. This HBCU Tour reflects that
mission by giving our scholars the chance to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities,
engage with campus leaders and students, explore academic programs, and envision themselves
thriving in spaces rooted in legacy, pride, and purpose.
Funds raised through this campaign will help offset tour-related costs, including transportation,
lodging, meals, campus programming, and student materials—ensuring that financial barriers do
not limit participation in this life-changing experience.
This fundraiser is Powered by Popcorn, Inspired by HBCU Dreams—and driven by a community
that believes our students deserve access to spaces that will challenge them, uplift them, and
remind them that they belong
